Insjöns Väveri was founded in 1947 by Ivar Hollstein in the small town Insjön in Dalarna, Sweden. Right next to highway 70 south of Leksand, he opened the factory that 74 years later still stands on the same site. There we produce quality tablecloths, napkins and towels in linen and cotton using traditional techniques, as close to handwoven as you can get with a machine.

In the old machinery, most things are the same as they used to be. The tireless looms, some of them nearly 100 years old, were far from new when the business started and are still weaving perfectly.
